Zira wasn't expecting someone to actually appear while they were trying on clothes. Liz made quick work of them as Zira followed her out onto the main street as they tried to walk casually. As if nothing bad had just happened to them. Glad the Vulture men were busy with the disturbance back in Sector Twelve.
"A hotel would be ideal, but we don't have any money. Maybe we could find an old house that hasn't been used in a while to rest our heads. Someplace where neither Vulture nor citizen would come barging in on us while we rested."
Zira wasn't sure where they could find such a house. It would be dangerous to steal credits in Isafaro with so many soldiers working the streets and the buildings around them. The last thing they needed was to end up at an Isafaro outpost and then back in a research facility.

"You forget that we have telepathy now. A hotel sounds fine."
Liz continued to walk down the pavement until she saw a hotel building up ahead and led Zira inside. She went up to the front and smiled at the man behind the desk.
"How may I help you?"
"We need a room for two."
"Will you be paying with cash or credit?"
Elizabeth then put on her telepathy to control the person's mind:
"Neither. You will give us this room free of charge and let us stay as long as we like."
"Yes, of course," he replied as a mindless robot.
The man gave them the keys to their new room and Liz led Zira upstairs to the room and entered it. Finding a good sized room with two beds, a bathroom with a shower, and a window in the living quarters overseeing the city.
"This should do for as long as we need it. At least until we figure out where to go from here."
And she had no idea where to go from here.

Zira felt silly forgetting about the elephant in the room. Their powers. Now standing in the hotel room that Liz had got them for free. She wondered about the morality of doing that on an innocent, but they didn't have the luxury of respecting high morals right now. It was a matter of survival, and you did things you didn't normally do when you were trying to survive.
"I think I'm going to go to bed. It's been a busy day. Goodnight, Liz."
Zira went over to one of the beds and crashed landed on it. Falling asleep as soon as her head hit the pillow. She was exhausted.

"Goodnight, Zira."
Liz sat at the edge of the other bed and looked out the window into the night's sky until she was tired enough to fall asleep more easily. The night turned to day, and Liz was the first one up and in the shower before coming out in the clothes she stole and calling in room service for breakfast. After that she waited for the room service to arrive while trying to wake up her younger sister.
"Zira, wake up! It's morning. We have a lot to discuss."
Room service then arrived with breakfast and Liz took the room service and brought it in the room hoping the smell of freshly baked food would be enough to wake up her sister.

Zira groaned and then stretched across the bed as her eyes opened and she saw the food staring down at her. She hopped out of bed and helped herself to a plate of pancakes and waffles as she sat on the sofa with the small table and looked over to Liz.
"Good morning!"
Zira was happier now that she had a good night rest in a nice warm bed, even if it wasn't her own.
"I imagine you want to discuss what our next move should be. I think it's obvious, we can't stay in Isafaro."
Isafaro was too dangerous of a place right now. The researchers would be looking for them day and night. But where could they go? The nearest place was Hallowton and that city wasn't perfect either, but it was better than Isafaro.

Liz was happy to see that Zira was in better spirits now. She helped herself to some breakfast and sat across from where Zira sat as she listened to her younger sister speak. It was only a question of where to go from here.
"Hallowton is the closest nation to here that we can go to, but they don't have comforts such as these there. The nearest place that has them would be Jherrazad and Moon Valley. Jherrazad is at war with Isafaro under a cold hearted and plain out scary Empress, and Moon Valley is surrounded in supernatural diasters. So neither one seems very peaceful, but that would just leave Aircano which has the same problems as Hallowton. But even if we go south we would have to pass the Crystal Expanse to get to any of them."
They could fly, but it would take a while to cross the expanse even in the air. Hallowton was the easiest option. They would just have to give up certain technology advances to live there.
"Or we can get in touch with the Isafaro Resistance and aid them in taking out the Crimson Vulture."
Liz was ready to fight after what Isafaro had put them through. One thing was for sure. Since it was their own father who put them through this hellhole they couldn't go home.
