It was night time in Isafaro, but all of the city was lit up by the buildings in Sector One. Tori and her squad mates had to take to the sewers to travel through the city-state as they were wanted by the Vulture military. The sewers was a disgusting area to roam and full of mutated lizards that the Vulture research and development team long since abandoned.
Tori slowly lifted up a man hole cover with a pair of binoculars in hand. She zoomed in on two Vulture soldiers guarding the front entrance of the TV station owned by Carari Incorporated. Vulture had their hands in everything and nowhere was safe from the Crimson Vulture's eye in the sky. Tori sighed and looked down to where Kragen and Garrus were waiting down in the sewers.
"There are two guards at the front of the TV station. Armed with standard Vulture gear. There doesn't seem to be anyone on the roof or at the sides. Suggestions?"
Tori respected both men's opinions and wouldn't proceed without giving both men a chance to say their piece. They had to play this smart if they wanted to broadcast the message to Isafaro that their leader, Imai Katayo, wanted them to broadcast.

Isafaro was a truly beautiful city that was choked underneath the talons of the Crimson Vulture keeping it from realizing its full potential. The sewers stood as a reminder of the true filth of the city and how careless the scientists were dumping their failed experiments in the sewers like this. But that was the way you acted when few people ever challenged you. The people were afraid, and they had to be shown to no longer fear the vulture in the sky.
Kragen looked up at Tori as she asked for suggestions. Kragen knew Vulture gear included a fully automatic assault rifle with armor piercing rounds and an auto-target feature and radar to detect people. Luckily for them Kragen had a few chaff grenades on hand to jam their signal long enough for them to make it through to the TV station inside. Glancing at Garrus and Tori the Ex-Soldier said merely one word.
"Stealth."

The sewers was never a fun experience for anyone, but it was needed for the trio to travel through Isafaro without soldiers on their tales. Then again, instead of Crimson Vulture they had failed experiments like mutated lizards and spiders coming after them. I guess that was the risk you took when you dealt with the Crimson Vulture. If it weren't soldiers trying to kill you it was something they created years ago. Garrus waited at the bottom of the ladder for Tori to reveal the situation to them. Once she did he looked over to Kragen who said they should use stealth. Garrus had another idea. Garrus Vakarian "Or we can take out those guards. They'd never expect us to go in through the front." It was risky, but it made it easier to get inside if they forced their way in.

Tori listened as both men had very different approaches to the situation at hand.
"You looking to bust some heads, Garrus?"
Tori knew Garrus had no love for the Vulture or his men. He was a man with a strong moral code and knew what the Vulture were doing was wrong. That was one of the many reasons they all joined the Resistance. Tori looked through her binoculars again and saw one of the soldiers had a radio on their waist.
"The problem with that idea, Garrus, is dispatch. Once those soldiers are taken out we'll have more on our asses, and it will be nearly impossible for us to have enough time to broadcast a message to Isafaro. I'm afraid I"ll have to agree with Kragen's plan for now."
Tori climbed out of the man hole cover leaving room for Kragen and Garrus to follow her as she kept low and moved to the side of the building before climbing over the gate onto the other side.
"Kragen, release those chaff grenade so their radars won't pick us up."
Tori waited for Kragen to release the grenades before she would continue. She could see a side door on the building ahead and hopefully they could make it to the top floor where the TV station's sets were located.

It was hard to read Kragen's facial expression with the gas mask. He wore the gas mask because his own face was covered with scars that weren't pretty to look at. He glanced at Garrus as the turian gave his idea and wasn't surprised one bit when Tori went with his idea instead. Kragen said nothing more as Tori climbed out of the man hole cover and Kragen followed suit.
Kragen drew his HK assault rifle and followed Tori over the fence and to the side. At the order to release the chaff grenades, Kragen did so. Jamming the radar on the soldiers' rifles as they tinkled with them trying to get them working again. Kragen went ahead and pressed his back up against the wall by the door of the side entrance and then kicked it in. Inside he found a staircase that led all the way up to the top floor. And there was a lot of steps to ascend to get there. Nothing they couldn't handle. Kragen turned back to the other two.
"Clear."

"You looking to bust some heads, Garrus?"Garrus Vakarian "The thought had occurred to me." Garrus wouldn't argue his point any further now that the Commander had made her decision. He climbed up the ladder after Kragen and followed the duo over the fence and to the side door of the building. His assault rifle now out in his hands in case they needed to blast their way through some soldiers. At the clear, Garrus entered the room with the staircases next and looked up with his rifle raised. They needed to get to the top floor and it looked like there were no more soldiers to stand in their way, but still they had to be careful. Garrus climbed up the first set of steps and stayed near the door on the first floor as he waited for the other two to climb further up the staircase.

Tori knew she could count on the two to do their jobs. It was hard to find good help, but Kragen and Garrus were among the best soldiers in the Isafaro's Resistance and Tori was glad to have them on her side. After the chaff grenades went off Tori took out her Socom pistol and hurried to the side door. After Kragen and Garrus cleared it, Tori entered and began ascending the staircases in the room.
It was tiring climbing up these steps, but Tori didn't have the time to dwell on it. Those soldiers down below were going to wonder why their radars were jammed and go searching for answers. They needed to get to the top where the sets were and broadcast their message now.
After what felt like forever, Tori made it to the top floor and slowly entered the next room with her Socom raised. There were no one down the narrow hallway so Tori signalled for Kragen and Garrus to follow as she slipped through the door and down the hallway. Picking out a random door and finding a news set with a news desk in front of a set of cameras and a window in the back.
"Perfect."
Tori went over to the news desk and sat down in the chair as she looked to the other two.
"Kragen, get that camera working. Garrus, watch for any soldiers at the door. Once we broadcast this message the whole place is going to be on alert."
They would have to flee the scene quickly once the message was sent.

Kragen followed Tori up the staircases and didn't complain. It wasn't in his nature to complain about a hardship. What good did it do? Instead he toughened up and climbed to the top where Tori found the first stage for them to broadcast their message. It was like everything was laid out perfectly for them to fulfill their mission objective. It was almost too easy.
Kragen went over to the cameras as Tori sat down in front of them and began to fiddle with them. Kragen was familiar with most of the technology in Isafaro so it wasn't hard to find the record button and start broadcasting live on all television sets in Isafaro. Once the cameras were rolling Kragen signaled for Tori to begin.
"Action."

Garrus wouldn't complain either. After all he's been through in the past a few staircases was nothing. He followed the pair up to the top with his gun raised and entered the first room Tori found and looked around at the news set. He also deducted that it was almost too easy how everything was laid out, but decided to ignore his instincts for now. There was no way the Vulture would allow them to get this far if they knew he was here. Garrus said nothing more after Tori's orders to watch the door. With the tip of his barrel in-between the crack in the entrance of the room, Garrus watched for any Vulture men to appear.

As soon as Kragen's lips parted with the word 'action' Tori knew she was on and gave her biggest smile as her face appeared on every skyscraper and TV in the twelve different sectors.
"Wake up, Isafaro! We're here with a special news report to say the Vulture in the sky is lying to you."
Tori didn't expect anyone to get the Full House reference. She continued with a more serious look on her face.
"As we speak the Crimson Vulture are conducting ungodly experiments on their own soldiers, citizens, and anything else they can get their hands on. People live in fear every day of soldiers harassing them for no reason. I know you're afraid, but you don't have to be scared anymore. There's a Resistance growing to help combat the tyranny of the Crimson Vulture. If you ever want the government to treat you fairly, then we need to replace the current form of government. We need to fight back! Stand up and take back your city-!"
Suddenly the screen went blurry and an eye inside a pyramid appeared on the screen. It was the artificial intelligence known only as the Illuminati.
"We are currently experiencing technical difficulties. Please stand by."
Then everything went black.
"Dammit! I was cut off!"
Tori knew the game was up. As they spoke soldiers were rushing up the staircase and to the top floor to catch the people who made the broadcast. And outside the window an unmanned Vulture chopper swooped down in front of the window and open fired through the glass to hit the trio in the room.
"Shit! Hit the deck!"
Tori rolled over the news desk and fell behind it to provide herself cover against the bullets. With soldiers nearing their position this place was going to be a war zone. And the only way out was through the window the Vulture chopper was firing from.

The message was cut short due to the interference from the Vulture's AI. Seeing the helicopter coming into view, Kragen rolled across the ground next to where Tori was to avoid the hail of bullets now coming down upon them. He peeked up from behind the news desk and open fire at the chopper with his G3 but the helicopter only withstood the bullets because of the armor plating on the chopper. He would've liked to throw a grenade inside, but the door was shut and it would take some doing cutting through it defenses.
"Any ideas?"

Garrus saw the incoming Vulture soldiers and fired on them to force them behind cover. He then slammed the door shut and barricaded it before turning to see the helicopter outside. He slid onto the ground and moved from cover to cover until he met up with Tori and Kragen's position. Looking at the chopper that was repositioning itself readying for another batch of bullets he ducked down behind the desk and looked at the other two. Garrus Vakarian "My grenades are different from yours. It should be able to attach to the door of the chopper and take it down, but I need you both to draw its fire." Garrus sorted through his grenades and found the one he was looking for. Gripping it in his right hand as he looked back over to the chopper after another hailstorm of bullets. Garrus Vakarian "You ready?"

Tori looked over to Kragen who joined her behind the news desk.
"I was kind of hoping you had some ideas."
Garrus was soon with them, and thankfully he had a way to end the chopper before the soldiers outside the room broke through the barricade and started shooting.
"Go!"
Tori stood up with her FA-MAS assault rifle raised and fired at the chopper to distract the AI long enough for Garrus to get close.

Before Kragen could reply to Tori, Garrus showed up with a solution. Kragen had almost forgotten that Garrus's alien grenades were a different breed from their own. It didn't need the chopper's door to be open. It just needed a surface to attach to. The plan was sound and Kragen was willing to do his part.
"I'm always ready."
Kragen stood up next to Tori and fired with the G3. Moving to another block of cover before the chopper fired back at the two of them. Watching as the exit of the room was being banged upon by the soldiers outside. It wouldn't be long before they eventually broke through. Garrus had to blow the Vulture's chopper fast.
"Hurry!"

Garrus shot up and went to the right while the chopper's fire went to the left for Tori and Kragen. He went from cover to cover until he made it to the window and waited for the chopper to reveal itself. Right before it could fire down on his head, Garrus threw the grenade at the door of the chopper and jumped out of the way. Five seconds latter the grenade exploded and the chopper began to waver in the air. It fired rapidly to kill the three, but eventually fell to the ground and exploded with a loud bang and fire and smoke rising from the ground. Now they just needed to get out of there before the soldiers came barging through. Garrus Vakarian "Ladies first."
